Allied to the genitive of cause is the genitive of purpose in τοῦ with the infinitive (esp. with μή, 2032 e), and in expressions where ἕνεκα is usually employed, as ἡ πᾶσ' ἀπάτη συνεσκευάσθη τοῦ περὶ Φωκέα_ς ὀλέθρου
