Verbs of approaching and meeting take the genitive according to 1343 or 1349. These verbs are poetical. Thus, ἀντιόων ταύρων for the purpose of obtaining (his share of) bulls α 25, ἀντήσω τοῦδ' ἀνέρος I will encounter this man II 423, πελάσαι νεῶν
to approach the ships
