The passive may have the sense allow oneself to be, get oneself: ἐξάγοντές τε καὶ ἐξαγόυενοι carrying and allowing ourselves to be carried across theborder P. Cr. 48d, ἀπεχθήσει Γοργίᾳ you will incur the hatred of Gorgias P. Phil. 58c.
