The verbs whose verb-stem ends in a liquid or nasal often form the tenses other than the present by adding ε or ο, as ὄλλυ_μι (from ὀλνυ_μι) ὤλεσα, ὀλώλεκα (ὀλ-ε-), ὄμνυ_μι ὤμοσα (ὀμ-ο-).
