Doric and Aeolic always lengthen α to α_ (τι_μά_σω).
b. In verbs with stems originally ending in -ς Hom. often has σς in the future: ἀνύω ἀνύσσεσθαι, τελέω τελέσσω; by analogy ὄλλυ_μι ὀλέσσω (and ὀλέσω, ὀλεῖται).
