-ιστερος, -ιστατος.—By imitation of words like ἀχαρίστερος for ἀχαριττερος ( cross83) from ἄχαρις disagreeable, -ιστερος, -ιστατος are used especially with adjectives of a bad meaning, as κλεπτ-ίστατος (κλέπτης thief, cross321), κακηγορίστερος (κακήγορος abusive), λαλ-ίστερος (λάλος talkative).
