Dione

(Διώνη). A female Titan, loved by Zeus, by whom she became the mother of Aphrodité, who is hence called Dionaea and sometimes even Dioné. Hence Caesar is called Dionaeus Caesar, because he claimed descent from Venus (Aphrodité).
